Lyrics

If you were wondering about the title to my journal, I like to quote obscure song lyrics.

Because this is intended as a journal of my travels, I thought a line from the song “Walk This World” by Heather Nova would be fitting. My title is the first line of the chorus. The first verse of the song is:
I have slept beside the winter and the green is growing slow,
I have watched you find the places hidden by the snow,
I have tripped into a valley that is blue till you can see,
I want you to come walk this world with me.

The subtitle is from the song “The Blower’s Daughter” by Damien Rice, which was featured in my favorite movie, “Closer.” I just think that’s fitting because life goes easy on me... most of the time.
